Cutting down your team’s email traffic

Streamline your internal messaging and cut down the inbox congestion

Management teams are always looking how to streamline processes for its teams whether it’s customer facing or not. By using instant messaging, with a service such as Slack, you could drastically reduce the clutter in your team’s inbox. These areas are ones where a quick DM could do the job better than yet another email.

Showroom floor/site traffic

Plenty of stores have logistical issues when it comes to having the right sales people at the right place when potential customers walk into the showroom. Slack could be used as a quick way for the greeters/managers to alert a salesperson that they have opportunities out on the floor.

Test drives

There are plenty of scenarios where a salesperson is looking for a specific vehicle a customer wishes to test drive or another member of staff is out on a test drive and may be needed back at the store.

Service drive

Slack could be a great way for service advisers to quickly connect with their managers, technicians and parts departments instead of having to constantly leave their customers at the desk. Slack is also desktop-based, so advisers can have the same connectivity as on smartphone, keeping the flow of conversation moving without having to switch devices.

Marketing teams

Marketing teams having to manage a large dealership or many rooftops inside a group dynamic could use Slack to more efficiently keep their numerous initiatives in order.

Each project could have its own channel allowing for all stakeholders to quickly weigh into timely asks instead of constantly trying to squeeze in last minute meetings to get a few simple questions answered.
