How to get more of your customers into electric cars

How Eden Vauxhall is taking a proactive step in EV test drives

Eden Vauxhall has taken a proactive step that will guarantee that more of its customers get behind the wheel of an electric car, whether they are thinking of buying one or not.

The group has replaced all of its courtesy car fleet with electric Corsa-Es, with every customer set to be offered one when their own vehicle is in for servicing or repair.

Customers will be always handed over with a full charge, so they should have up to 209 miles of range at their disposal until they get their own car back again.

Eden’s Operations Director, James Kurd, said: “We’ve seen a huge surge of interest in electric cars over recent months, especially since the recent petrol station shortages, which have made customers think more about making the switch.

“At Eden Motor Group, we want to support our loyal customers in choosing the right car for them, and this initiative allows them to sample an electric car completely free of charge, which will help them decide whether or not an EV is the correct choice for them in a complete no-pressure environment. It will also help us reduce the exhaust emissions of our courtesy car fleet across our Vauxhall network to zero.”

The initiative applies at all 13 of Eden’s Vauxhall sites, in Banbury, Bracknell, Branksome, Camberley, Christchurch, Exeter, Fareham, Honiton, Newbury, Oxford, Reading, Swindon and Torbay.
